The seed for Petserv was planted in late 1999, months before I suffered a great loss. Charlie, part beagle, part Collie, family dog, with whom I lived alone in the last seven years of his life and with whom I shared a very special bond, passed on to heaven. In the 19th year of Charlie’s life, I searched the Internet for pet memorials. I was not able to find a unique as well as fitting memorial within my price range. I stopped the search about a month after it began, and I bought a simple wood urn for Charlie when he passed at the beginning of 2000 with the desire to start a business providing unique as well as affordable pet memorials. In 2004, an esteemed colleague suggested that I look into engraving rock memorials for pets. Finally...a business proposition that I was excited about! After much research, I discovered that it was not only feasible, but also highly suitable for me to create a company offering personalized pet tributes engraved with a laser machine. I set up the business, created a distinctive product line honouring existing as well as late pets, and rendered myself an expert on the appropriate software as well as hardware. Petserv began operations in 2005. The company name changed to Treasured Tributes in 2006 with the addition of People Tributes. Products include Black Granite Plaques, Brown Limestone Plaques, Wood Plaques, Wood Boxes, Wood Urns, Multi-Coloured Stone as well as Wood Pieces, and Jarred Scented Candles.
